Basin School District

Basin Elementary's recent Early Learning Day had a strong turnout with 34 families in attendance. Aimed at families with children aged 0-5, the event provided a valuable opportunity for parents to engage with 13 organizations and agencies specializing in child development. Each participating family received a backpack filled with donated books and assorted learning resources including blocks, writing tools, and more.  Additionally, students aged 4 and 5 by September 1st were able to register for preschool and kindergarten.  Basin Elementary expressed satisfaction with the event's success. They believe that initiating early partnerships with families and providing access to learning resources will help ensure students have a solid foundation for success when they reach school-age.
