Cooking Club

More than 30 enthusiastic elementary students immersed themselves in the after-school cooking club experience. Guided by staff members and community volunteers, they delved into fundamental food preparation techniques and learned to cook simple dishes. In their culminating activity, students showcased their newfound skills by cooking a semi-formal meal featuring savory spaghetti and meatballs, creamy fettuccine, and tantalizing lemon ricotta cupcakes. The after-school and Friday school clubs are funded through the Idaho Out of School Network grant and a state-funded substance abuse prevention grant.  These programs provide a nurturing environment for skill-building and community engagement.
