I am both honored and humbled to serve as your superintendent. Last year, as the principal of the Middle/High School, was a privilege, and I have developed a deep affection for our students, staff, and the Idaho City community.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I married a U.S. Marine, which allowed my family and me to experience various places and cultures. With 27 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher, mentor, and administrator across elementary, middle, and high schools. My educational journey includes earning a bachelor’s, master’s, and teaching certification from California State University, San Marcos, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I am truly enthusiastic about this school year and eagerly look forward to being a part of this amazing community. Together, I hope we can foster an environment where our students excel academically and personally. My goal is for our schools to be the shining light in the community—a place where everyone in Boise County aspires for their children to learn and grow.
